"Feed da Ducks"

2 weeks ago Kendall had Friday off, so we decided to go to Wheeler Farm.  I was still getting over strep and not feeling super great, so I just snapped away pictures and enjoyed the kids having so much fun.
The kids loved feeding all the ducks and geese.  Jack and Josh kept saying "Feed da ducks," over and over and over!
Josh, our little climber, loved that he could climb up on all the fences to see the animals.

Our favorites were the baby sheepies.  They are just so cute.
The kids liked the turkeys, but wanted to know what girl turkeys are called.  We told them boy ones are called Tom turkeys, and we have no idea what girl ones are called.  Any ideas?

 Our wild and free boys!
This little family of geese was our other favorite.
We went on the tractor ride and the kiddos loved it.

Jack was in his favorite spot of all time...his daddies lap.  He is such a daddy's boy.
Man, I sure do love my handsome husband!
Sam driving the tractor.  I can't believe this boy is going to be done with Kindergarten in a week and a half.
This was a very friendly horse.  Kendall was loving it, while I was keeping my distance.

A little late...and an egg thief!

This years Easter kind of snuck up on me.  I'm sure not very many of you are like me, but I get on pinterest and have all these fun ideas for all the holidays, but then the day comes and goes and very few of the fun things get done....oh well, there's always the standby answer..."maybe next year!"  We did make it to my sister Laura's house for the Thomson family Easter party.  After dinner we have a small egg hunt and this year was especially fun because the babies were starting to get the hang of it.

The littles got to have a head start.  Someone kept putting these dumb ears on Jack, but he did look pretty cute.
After opening his first egg, Josh was happy to just eat the candy, until he got the idea that each egg was full of candy, then he excitedly gathered up more eggs.
Once again, Sam was the dash. I couldn't get a single shot of him looking at the camera or even holding still, for that matter!
This year Maggie was added to the list of being too fast and too into it to stop for pictures.  The kids are only supposed to gather a dozen each and before I realized it, her whole basket was full.  We had to throw some back, which she wasn't too happy about.

While Sam was discovering his loot, Jack kept sneaking up and stealing eggs.  It was so funny.

Yeah, a little late posting these, but what can you do?

Spring brings pretty flowers and naughty kids!

Because of our crazy spring weather here, my English Daisies were starting to droop.  Instead of tossing them in the trash I made a little "bouquet" of them for miss Mags.  She was so delighted...and has been carrying them around all morning.  Aren't they cute in my new mug?  I scored the whole set of mugs from Target on clearance...that's the best.  I will have a picture soon of what I've done with them.
Another recent score was this super cute owl pot.  I have been coveting it for a little while and could no longer stand it, so I snagged it up at Joann's. I got the plant at Ikea.  If you've never looked at their succulents you are missing out.  They are very reasonably priced and normally have a pretty good selection...this last time they were getting a little bare.
So on to the naughty kids party.  With the weather fluctuating between warm 60's and then plummeting to 30's with snow, the kids have had a delicious taste of outside playing, then are banished back in doors.  So we have been having lots of teasing and fighting.  Jack got a long time-out after biting Josh on the back for not handing over the toy he was demanding!  Poor little choppy!
Luckily it's warm again and we are headed back outdoors.  Hopefully everyone can get along!!!
