A few more

These are the two most recent layouts I have finished.  This picture of Sam is one of my all time favorites of him!

Finished Layouts

As mentioned in this post, I will be posting several finished pages and projects for the next little while. These are a few of the layouts I've done...I'm afraid the page of Sam at the fire house is probably one of my least favorites, but I was in a scrapbooking funk for several months...don't judge

A Snowman, Santa, and a new Scrapbook page

I was pleasantly surprised Sunday evening when Sam came and asked me to come outside. He'd been helping Kendall shovel the sidewalks, so I thought it would be to see the clean walks, but this is what I found! Being Sam's first snowman, he was ecstatic; but, quite concerned that his hammer hilt was the snowmans nose.

I can't believe we got a picture of the two of them actually smiling...although Sam's smile is a little freaky!

Last but not least, this is a page I made this week. It isn't quite finished, there is a second page to the layout. The words are to the song "Then," by Brad Paisley.

Work, work, work...and some new pages.

Well, it's certainly been a productive week! These are the onesies I made for my very first, and probably last wholesale order! Wow, it was a lot of work to make these all at once, and I'm afraid my family and I suffered. I normally only sew at night when the kidos have gone to bed, and I had to sew all day long to get this order done. Plus, I really like the none pressure feel I have when there are only a few to make at a time. As most of you know I am not a mass producing kind of gal and it took a lot out of me to make this many...I know, I know, I sound like a huge whiner, but it was a long week. Plus, on top of this I had four more to make for seperate orders...Whew, I'm glad to have my shop on vaca for a while.
This is a picture of my trooper children this week. Sam is watching an old goofy show that I used to watch as a kid, and Mags is watching him. She adores this kid! It's so fun to watch their little relationship grow. Seriously, if he is by her she just talks and giggles until he pays attention to her, and now he is really loving to play with her because she is more like Desi...my niece...(meaning she reactes more to his silly antics!)
These are a few pages I've gotten done the last little while.

Kendall was the spotlight teacher in primary this week and these are some of the pages he picked to show some of the things he like to do. I don't think I've posted them before so here they are now.

New pages

I finally decided to take pictures of the pages I did up at Liz's house, and here they are. I am really excited for tomorrow night because we are having a kidless scrapbook party, and I need to take advantage of this spurt of creative mood while it lasts! It's weird because until this last scrapbook session I haven't wanted to for a long time, and now that it's back I am really excited!

Some New Pages

This Saturday, the boys went to the Monster Truck Show, so I had a little kidless party with my available sister Laura and my mom. We went and hit some of the sales then came home and got some scrapbooking done. These aren't very good pictures, but here are the pages I got done. Sadly our party was interrupted by Laura's husband who had broken his hand at the Sand Dunes...hope they can set your hand today Guy!!!

The beginnings of potty training and some new stuff

This is kind of going to be a scattered post, but here goes! Saturday night I decided that I really wanted to scrapbook, so after S and K were asleep I made this page. I'm so weird because I really enjoy scrapping really late at night. After I got done I looked at the clock and it was 3:00 am.
Then, today I made this dress for M! One day I was talking to my sister Liz, wondering how I was going to find colored onesies to match my new fabric and she had the brilliant idea to dye them. So today I dyed this yellow one and I think it turned out really great!

We have started the daunting task of potty training S. Although he loves wearing the underpants he has yet to actually pee in the toilet...but he is at least telling us when he needs to pee. I think these camo unders are so cute!!!K was replacing the door knobs on the front door and S had to be right in the action helping with all the awesome tools. K is so great to help S learn how to help him. I love watching the two of them together!

The last of my SOY pages

Here are the rest of my SOY contest pages. It's funny, looking through my pages again makes me proud of myself for completing this hard contest, and even though I obviously didn't win I am still really proud of my work and the time I put into each page. Let me know what you think and where I can improve.

The rest of my SOY layouts are found here.  Please leave some feedback on what you think!

A New Layout and some of my Scrapbooker of the Year pages!

This is my latest layout that I've done. It's actually kind of pathetic because I haven't scrapbooked forever. My sisters are all getting together this weekend for a girls party and we are going to go to Swiss days up in Heber and then come back here and scrapbook all night long. I am so excited and all of a sudden have a huge scrapbooking itch! The rest of these pages are my Scrapbooker of the year contest submissions. These are ten of the layouts and I will post the other ten this week. Let me know what you think.
