Our Easter weekend was kind of a crazy blur of fun-ness! It started Saturday morning with a city egg hunt...where there weren't even eggs...just candy thrown out on the ground, sucky! After picking up about 10 pieces of candy Sam said, "that's enough." Not as big of a hit as I'd hoped, oh well, maybe next year. Then after the Priesthood session that night we went to sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's house. We played games all night, and laughed really hard. After a big breakfast we watched more conference and at 3:00 we headed up to Wendy's house for the Thomson family FHE/party. I love that we have an egg hunt every year, and that my kids are getting big enough to love it! Sam could hardly wait when he saw some of the eggs the bigger kids had hidden.
Maggie was having quite the little party! Sadly I have no pictures of Sam finding eggs because he was "The Blur!" He found his eggs and was off to play with the kids way too fast for a mom wanting to take cute pictures!

These are all of the kids, minus Ben {whose serving a mission in Georgia} and Maddie and Kyle {They were at their other Granparents this yearThis is Spencer! Any time we are together, Sam is his little shadow...and when we aren't together {sadly, they live kind of far} he is constantly asking about him.
Luckily Spencer {aka Jeanette and Brad} live in the country, so we can get these super cute pictures with some baby chicks. Sam was mildly interested...he stopped jumping on the tramp for about five minutes so we could snap a couple of pictures...and Maggie was curious.
All in all, we had a great Easter weekend...now we just need another weekend to recoup!
