House Update

I thought I would give a little update on the whole house buying process. We are working out some of the kinks with the bank (it's Fannie Mae owned). We knew the house had a water leaking problem down in the basement, but we thought it had already been solved when they put rain gutters and a down spout on the house. But after the inspection we found out that the upstairs bathroom has some plumbing problems. So we are waiting for them to fix that. Then the pilot light wouldn't stay lit on the furnace, so we aren't sure if the furnace is bad or if sitting vacant for a year tooks it toll. So they are going to be having someone come and take a look at that too. We just had to extend our due diligence deadline till Friday so they can resolve those issues. Keep your fingers crossed for us that they can fix these problems and that we aren't going to get screwed!!!
