This weekend was pretty eventful. Sam had his Kindergarten orientation for the fall. He was so excited and lilstened intently to all of the information. He even raised his hand and told the principal that he promised he wouldn't wear flip-flops because she said those weren't the best for playing on the play ground. He then got up and demonstrated that his sandals would be perfect for that. I was so proudly embarassed!
Walking in to the school, he could hardly contain his excitement. He thought that is was really cool that they had their own cross walk to get to the school.
My handsome boy is getting way too big!
He thought it was so awesome that there were places to hang their coats and backpacks, and he loved that everything was his size...even the toilets and sinks!
Us outside of his school. Thanks mom for watching the other kiddos so we could go and have an hour just the two of us. I think I'm definitely going to have a little bit of a hard time that this boy is getting soooo big! Also on Friday, my brother in law Jeff called and said he could level the side of our yard TODAY! It was so great, and it looks awesome. I will post some pictures of the leveled part later. He pulled out the two big bush stumps we had and this kids just loved watching him work.
Sam loved it when the front wheels would come up!
The best part though were the rides. He took them for rides up and down our street, and they were in heaven. At first Maggie did not like it, so she got right out.
Then, not to be out done by the boys she had to have a turn too. Thanks soooooo much Jeff!!!
On Saturday morning we hit a yard sale by Laura's house and the kids scored big.
Sam even got a darth vader head that talks...he was in heaven.
